Prerequisites
This course requires a min of 3+ years' experience working in one of the fields of IS, IT, Networking or software development. A detailed understanding of TCP/IP networking is highly recommended. No other InfoSec experience is required.
Please note full CISSP membership requires " a minimum of five years of direct full-time security professional work experience in one or more of the eight domains ". Associate membership may be available for those that do not meet the requirements for full membership but have passed the exam.
Exam
The CISSP exam contains 100 to 150 multiple-choice questions taken over a 3-hour testing window at one of 1000's of testing locations thoughout Europe. Regarded as one of the toughest exams in the industry, achieving a pass is the career highlight for many InfoSec specialists. Please note that the exam and exam cost is not included with the course. 3-6 weeks post-course study is recommended before attempting the exam.
