Blue Screen IT 8 week cyber boot camp

We have been supporting MoD service leavers resettle into the growing global tech industry for the past 17 years. We now want to use that expertise to help residents of Devon and Somerset build their confidences, industry skills and find that next exciting role in the new digital economy.

 

With funding from DfE, we are offering residents of Devon and Somerset the chance to sign up for a free industry skills boot camp in IT or cyber, including a short industry placement.

 

The 10 week IT boot camp will cover:

•         Personal development

•         Technical development - IT fundamentals

•         CompTIA A+ Core 1

•         CompTIA A+ Core 2

•         CompTIA Networking

•         Service Management

•         Introduction to cyber security

•         Introduction to IoT

•         Job placement  

 

The 8 week cyber boot camp will cover:

•         Personal development

•         Technical development - CompTIA IT security

•         CompTIA cyber security analyst (CySA+)

•         CompTIA pentesting (PenTest+)

•         Job placement  

 

The aim of the programme is to get all successful delegates through the boot camp and find them a workplace to lead onto employment in the region or as a remote worker to increase the opportunities available within six months of completing.

 

This is an outstanding opportunity. To qualify you need to be a resident of Devon or Somerset aged 19+.

 

The programme is ideally suited to unemployed or underemployed graduates who want to kick start a successful career in IT or cyber.
