What will I study?
 
MSc Cyber Security Technology covers areas such as:
- Information Governance and Security
- Leadership in the Digital Age 
- Big Data and Cloud Security
As well as exploring the principles that underpin the management of an organisation’s information assets, you will also develop leadership skills in a digital context. 
 
Your modular knowledge gained will prepare you for a postgraduate research project (which is relevant to Computing and Technology and career or future aspirations). Subsequently, you will develop a career plan and reflective log considering how your learning from the programme can accelerate your professional development. 
 
How will I be assessed? 
You’ll be taught by experienced lecturers and academics who use their industry experience to demonstrate how the software engineering principles and tools can be applied to solve business and management problems.
 
This programme is expected to take 42 hours per week overall study time, including 10-12 hours of lectures and seminars and 30-32 hours of self-study. 
 
The programme is 100% coursework based. This includes critical report writing, portfolio, projects and a physical artefact such as a programme or a database.
